Lustful TechArt GT Street R.

I first laid eyes on TechArt’s “street” series back in 2009 when I attended my first Salon d’Auto in Geneva and saw the purposeful, GT Street RS.  Although this GT Street R is based on the older 911 Turbo model (2010), TechArt has revamped it for 2012.  Powered by a 3.8 twin-turbo capable of 660 hp and 635 lb/ft of torque.  Numbers like that mean it’s a car that doesn’t f***around.

Splitters and spoilers and winglets oh my! Unlike other tuners, every added carbon fibre goodie on this car, big or small, is there for a reason.  With a claimed top speed of 214 mph, there’s probably many reasons.
